Sheena Liveaboard
9 days London to London [FB]
The Sheena was refitted in 2007. Comfortably furnished, it is an authentic Maldivian diving vessel that fulfils every divers wish. For the first time and exclusively, the Sheena will be offering charters in the southern Maldives from the island of Medhufushi. The transfer by air from Male airport to Medhufushi takes approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
You will be able to dive new and pristine reefs and channels in the Meemu-, Laamu- and Thaa Atolls in the Southern Maldives. On request, alternative routes travelling to Felidhoo Atoll (Hammerhead Sharks) and South Ari Atoll (Whale Sharks) are also available. There is an element of 'expedition' diving to charter unknown diving regions as well as some of the better known dive sites.
The Sheena has a spacious saloon with CD/DVD player, HIFI and TV, as well as several decks all of which are furnished with sun loungers and mats.
MV Sheena can accommodate 14 guests in seven ensuite cabins. On the lower deck there are five spacious and comfortable superior cabins that have portholes. One cabin at the stern has a double bed all others have two single beds. A further two cabins on the top deck have double beds and large windows. These upper deck cabins are offered on a first come first serve basis.
Meals are served in the spacious saloon or outside on the large table at the stern. A barbecue is organised once a week on one of the islands. There is a well stocked bar which supplies a wide range of drinks. Tea, coffee and water are available all day, free of charge.
It is compulsory for each diver to wear a computer, to be in possession of a surface marker buoy, an alternate air source and for the night dives one torch per diver as well as a strobe light per buddy team
