Located on the North Malé Atoll, lapped by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, Bandos Maldives is a great option for any length of stay.

The well known resort offers visitors a tranquil, tropical setting and the opportunity to unwind and relax for a few days, or continue diving during your stay.

Featuring 216 rooms in seven categories, accommodation ranges from from cosy classic beachfront rooms surrounded by tropical gardens to luxurious water villas with magnificent ocean views. They have all been built with comfort, convenience and luxury in mind, with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, TV, safe and mini bar. Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the island.

Facilities include a choice of four restaurants and three bars. All meals are served buffet style in the main Gallery Restaurant with a choice of other outlets including Grill Bar, Huvan and Umi Yaki, all with additional charge. Private dining and all inclusive meal plans are available. The resort features a swimming pool, the Orchid Spa, a kids’ club, and a clubhouse witha  lounge, gym, sauna, table tennis, badminton, tennis and squash courts. Plus there is a boutique, medical centre and convention facilities. Excursions include island hopping adventures, motorised and non-motorised water sports plus a PADI affiliated dive centre. 

Bandos Maldives is a fifteen minute speedboat transfer from Malé International Airport.

Dive Bandos

One of largest and oldest dive centres in the Maldives, Dive Bandos has an excellent reputation and offers memorable diving experiences for all. The PADI affiliated dive centre offers a wide range of courses, daily shore and boat diving and a knowledgeable staff from around the world.

The house reef has three entry/exit points suitable for divers and snorkellers. Here you can expect to see black and white-tip sharks, rays, tuna, schools of snapper and turtles. There is such a rich variety of marine life in this area which includes up to 40 dive sites within 45 minutes of the island.

There are four dive dhonis at the resort, so for those who like to venture further you can head out on one of two boat trips a day to classic dive sites such as Banana Reef, Barracuda Giri and Paradise Rock, not forgetting seasonal manta ray diving at Lankan Reef (Sep-Dec) and Boduhithi Thila (Jan-Apr).

The dive centre offers a variety of modern equipment and cameras for rent and Nitrox 32% is complimentary for qualified divers.

One of the three hyperbaric chambers in the Maldives is located here and they have a well equipped medical clinic.
