Bonaire

Bonaire is the shore diving capital of the Caribbean. High quality dive sites are spread along its western shore and all are easily accessible to divers, with helpful signposts and places to park your hire car.

Malta

The rich history of the Maltese islands doesn’t stop on land. With dozens of historical and modern wrecks - both boats and planes - Malta offers a unique opportunity for divers to explore underwater history. With numerous shore-based entry points across Malta, Gozo and Comino, diving the varied sites of wrecks and reefs couldn’t be easier. The dive sites in Malta are suitable for divers of all abilities. Learning to dive on a wrecked ship is something spectacular, whilst more advanced divers can explore the life on the deeper wrecks.

Jordan

Jordan supplies divers with over twenty shore entry points on a 25 kilometre coastline that is home to a well preserved fringing reef and corals. Divers and snorkellers are treated to an abundance of marine life across the reefs, the walls, and the wrecks that make Jordan a diving paradise.

Explore the pinnacles and critters that live in the corals, or perhaps explore the wrecks of an anti aircraft vehicle and freighter. Divers are treated to the luxurious Marina Plaza Hotel, multiple shore entry sites, and three house reefs - perfect for those eager to dive or snorkel instantly.

The Maldives

The Maldives picture perfect islands and atolls make for a wonderful base for a shore diving holiday. No more than dots in the azure blue ocean, the Maldives really begins beneath the gentle waves that lap its shores. Here you can find vibrant reefs and a wonderful variety of marine life, from curious critters to turtles and even sharks.

Bali

At the end of WWII, the wreck of the USS Liberty was scuttled on the north-eastern shores of Bali. Rumour has it, in 1967 when Gungung Agung, the local volcano erupted, the wreck was picked up by the force of the eruption and deposited once again just off shore in Bali’s beautiful blue waters.

These days, the wreck is not only a wonderful dive, it has become home to myriad marine life over passage of time and adorned with corals of all shapes and colours. The USS Liberty in Tulamben is not the only great shore dive in this part of Bali though. At the other end of the bay is a great wall dive, while a little to the south is Seraya Secrets, one of Indonesia’s finest muck diving reefs. Kulu a little to the north has more great shore diving, ensuring this region is worthy of any list of great shore diving locations. Head to Alam Anda, Siddhartha or Scuba Seraya Resort to make the most of Bali’s great shore diving.

Wakatobi

Home to what many describe as the best house reef in the world, Wakatobi Dive Resort offers some of the most enthralling and memorable shore diving available.
