The luxurious Carpe Novo operates exceptional dive trips and marine encounters throughout the year to the central and southern atolls of the Maldives.
The 43 metre wooden hulled liveaboard is the most spacious and luxurious of the three boats in the exclusive Carpe Diem fleet, built by owner and fourth generation boat maker Amir Mansoor.
She accommodates up to 22 passengers in 12 cabins, spread across three decks. The four junior suite cabins on the upper deck offer ample space and are furnished with king beds (two of which can be split into twin beds) and large windows. The main deck features two single suites with a queen bed and large windows. Six standard cabins are located on the lower deck, four of which feature a queen bed with bunk and two of which have twin beds; all with porthole windows. All cabins are air-conditioned, are furnished with a TV and HD multi-media player, desk, storage space and have an en-suite shower/bathroom.
On board facilities include a comfortable lounge, galley, camera and equipment room on the main deck (where the dive briefings occur), open air dining and bar area at the rear of the upper deck and a partially shaded sun deck at the top of the boat. The crew of 13 includes three dedicated to diving operations. The electricity is 220V and plug sockets on board are multinational.
The Carpe Novo offers seven and ten night itineraries throughout the year, predominantly to the central and southern atolls, departing Malé on a Saturday. Getting to the boat may include a domestic flight. Up to three dives a day are offered on each itinerary from the custom built dhoni and Nitrox is complimentary for certified divers.
