Single divers need not worry that they have to miss out on all the fun, or pay twice the price. There are many friendly dive resorts who keep single supplements to a minimum or allow you to share. We have created a collection of trips ideal for solo divers. In addition to this, our liveaboards and group trips are also perfect for single travellers.
Why our singles diving holidays are so successful
Great diving holidays for singles
From the Philippines to the Galapagos Islands, Tanzania to Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific, we offer holidays ideal for solo divers in some of the best dive destinations in the world.
Saving on single supplements
It is not always necessary to pay hefty single supplements when staying in resorts. Sometimes, it is not necessary to pay any single supplements at all. Book a diving package at Tanzania’s charming Mafia Island Lodge and single supplements are waived at certain times of year, while True Blue Bay Resort in Grenada offers special deals for single scuba divers at certain times of year.
Both Wakatobi Dive Resort and Manta Ray Bay hotel in Yap will waive single supplements if there is someone to share with, much like a liveaboard. In the Philippines and some parts of Indonesia, the diving is not only world-class, but the accommodation is cheap, so travelling alone still need not break the bank even if single supplements apply.
Liveaboard diving holidays
Liveaboards are well-suited to solo travellers and generally will be happy to waive single supplements if you are happy to share a cabin with another guest. As well as experiencing some superb scuba diving, you are sure to meet like minded divers and make friends for life.
We offer the widest range of liveaboard diving adventures spanning the finest dive destinations on the globe, from the big-fish meccas of the eastern Pacific to the dazzling reefs of Asia and the Indian Ocean.
Expert-led and group trips
Our range of expert-led adventures are ideal for solo divers, affording you not only the camaraderie of being with a group, but also benefitting from the knowledge and experience of our carefully chosen experts.
Budding underwater photographers are bound to enjoy our Wonders of Wakatobi adventure with marine biologist Dr Richard Smith.
