Enjoy the delights of both Bunaken and Lembeh with our new small group departures that combines the benefit of liveaboard diving whilst staying at a resort.

Aimed at divers who like to travel as part of a group and those who may normally enjoy a liveaboard experience, these small group adventures offer safe camaraderie and an action-packed diving itinerary.

Your base for this week is the Tasik Ria Resort on the shores of Manado, facing Bunaken National Marine Park.

Three dives per day are on offer, with a special diving itinerary that includes a dawn dive, a night dive and a trip to the Lembeh Strait, with plenty to appeal to divers and underwater photographers alike. A total of 17 dives are included during the week and Nitrox is complimentary.

Typical Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrive to Bunaken

    Your itinerary begins today in Manado, where you'll be met and transferred to the Tasik Ria Resort on the northern coast of Sulawesi.

    Meet the other members of your group and settle in to your new surroundings. Your group of just 6-10 people, along with your dive guide, will act as a social bubble for the week.

    Twin, double and single rooms are available. There is no supplement for single travellers. All meals are also included as part of your stay.

  2. Day 2: Begin your diving adventure

    Enjoy your first three dives today in the waters around Manado and Bunaken National Marine Park with your on-site dive centre.

    The aquatic ecosystem of the Bunaken National Marine Park attracts divers of all levels due to the high levels of marine biodiversity, the warm waters, and the clear visibility. Pristine walls covered in soft corals and sponges are home to barracuda, napoleon wrasse, turtles and countless smaller inhabitants.

  3. Day 3: Enjoy more of Bunaken

    Make a further three dives today as a group in and around the Bunaken National Park, including a special dawn dive.

  4. Day 4: Dive the Lembeh Strait

    Travel by road this morning to the Lembeh Strait for a further three dives.

    For divers interested in the weird and wonderful, Lembeh Strait offers the best muck diving on earth! Attracting marine experts from around the world, it's home to a huge array of rare and unusual marine life, with new species regularly being discovered.

    Lembeh Strait is a 60-90-minute journey by road, with all dive sites just a short boat ride away.

  5. Day 5: Continue your diving adventure

    Enjoy a further three dives today from Tasik Ria Resort, including one night dive.

    Due to the biodiversity of this area, a night dive is a special experience, promising sightings that will both surprise and delight!

  6. Day 6: Three further dives

    Enjoy a further three dives today from Tasik Ria Resort to continue to explore the region together as a group.

    Over 50 dive sites are available, promising a range of marine life and experiences.

  7. Day 7: Final day’s diving

    Make two final dives today, providing one last opportunity to marvel at the wonderful marine life of this region. In total, 17 dives are included in your itinerary.

    This afternoon dry your kit and relax before enjoy an optional evening BBQ for your final evening together.

  8. Day 8: Say your goodbyes!

    After a week together enjoying the magical diving of North Sulawesi, it's time to say your goodbyes. Those heading home will transfer to the airport. It's also possible to extend your diving holiday on a tailor-made basis. Contact us to find out more.
