North Sulawesi’s unique resort for divers, Tasik Ria offers all the conveniences of a friendly resort and spectacular diving in Bunaken marine park.

A family owned and run dive resort that offers great value for money and a level of warmth and hospitality which in today’s frantic world is such a rarity. The resort is a half hour drive away from the hustle and bustle of Manado, nestled along the coast amongst tropical landscaped gardens.

The resort features 34 rooms in two categories; 20 of which are located around the large freeform swimming pool, and the sea view cottages look out onto the beach front, affording more privacy. All rooms have air-conditioning and en-suite bathroom, and are equipped with modern amenities.

Facilities include the Bunaken restaurant serving both European and local dishes. The Sunset Jetty Bar is a great location to sit back and watch the sun set over Manado Tua. The resort also features two conference rooms and diving and snorkelling activities are operated by the on-site centre, Tasik Divers, who pride themselves on their facilities and service. WiFi internet access is available via portable dongle.

Tasik Divers

A PADI 5-star dive centre, Tasik Divers is committed to providing guests with a knowledgeable dive experience. Diving is available throughout the year.

Divers of all abilities and snorkellers are well catered for here. Daily diving options include the house reef, local sites and Bunaken Marine Park, offering a choice of over 50 sites to explore during your stay. Early bird, mandarin and night dives are available for those who enjoy spending more time in the water. A purpose built boat transports divers each morning.

Underwater highlights amongst the colourful hard and soft corals include an amazing and vibrant marine life and along the walls, Napolean wrasse, bumphead parrot fish, turtles, huge fans and barrel sponges, schools of trevally and jacks, eagle rays and reef sharks. For photographers, you'll mainly need a wide-angle lens, but there are plenty of critters to be found amongst the nooks and crannies on the walls as well as on small number of wrecks found here. Famous dive sites include Lekuan 1, 2 and 3, unofficially known as Turtle City, as well as the Molas wreck along the Manado coastline.

Water temperature is 27C on average throughout the year and visibility around 30 metres. Nitrox and rental equipment are available.
