This modern liveaboard offers some of the best diving trips in the Maldives. Based out of Malé, these include iconic sites and amazing marine encounters on the Emperor Voyager.
A welcoming, purpose built boat, the 30 metre long wooden hull liveaboard accommodates 20 divers in seven twin berth and three double, air-conditioned, en-suite cabins. She features a large outdoor relaxing area, bar, sundeck with hammocks and deck chairs, a comfortable saloon with home theatre and dedicated camera facilities. All diving is from the accompanying 20 metre long, customised dhoni. Enjoy up to 17 dives (including one night dive) during the week, led by three local guides.
The ‘Best of Maldives’ itineraries are flexible, allowing you to explore more and discover some of the most popular dive sites in the central atolls. Expect reef, channel and drift dives, macro life, manta rays at Maaya Thila cleaning station and shark encounters. Week long seasonal 'Manta Madness' itineraries operate from Jul-Oct. These include snorkelling at Hanifaru Bay and trips to known manta cleaning stations in both North Malé, Lhaviyani and Baa Atoll.
The Emperor Voyager departs Malé on a Saturday for weekly trips throughout the year. The boat is rebreather friendly and Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers. Snorkellers are welcome.
