There are several PADI instructors onsite at Lily Beach, offering courses from Discover Scuba, learning to dive with the Open Water course, right through to Rescue Diver and speciality courses. A full range of equipment is available to rent, and Nitrox is free of charge for qualified divers.
The expert team onsite at Lily Beach offers house reef diving on the stretching coral reef that borders each side of the long island, with turtles and reef sharks passing by. From the dive centre, over 50 dives sites can be accessed by boat, with something to suit all levels of experience and interest. Morning two-tank boat trips are followed by a single boat dive in the afternoon, and night dives can be arranged too.
Thila dives in the Dhigurah Chanel include Lucky Hell, Kudhimaa Wreck and 7th Heaven, all adrenaline filled with encounters with grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks and schooling snapper. Calming turtles and macro species can be found at Nu Giri, and manta rays and whale sharks can be seen year round in this area, with the best sightings November to May.
