Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon is an emerald island paradise with accommodation designed to pamper and please guests, with a variety of room types equipped with high standard amenities.
Located on the eastern fringe of the North Ari Atoll, it is an activity packed property with a magnificent house reef, the hallmark of the resort. Accommodation consists of 112 rooms, with four types of room category from standard or superior rooms to beach or water bungalows, all with private bathroom and a balcony or verandah complete with sun loungers. All rooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a mini-bar fridge (local charge), satellite TV and en-suite bathroom. WiFi is available throughout resort for a local charge.
Facilities include a swimming pool, two restaurants and bars, a gym, non-motorised water sports, table tennis and badminton plus the Chavana spa. Excursions to local islands can be arranged.
Ellaidhoo is a marine enthusiast's paradise, and the on-site dive centre offers a variety of boat dives and PADI courses, together with canoeing and snorkelling. Transfer to the island is a 30 minute seaplane ride from Malé.
Dive & Sail
The on-site dive centre is PADI affiliated and offers a wide range of courses and daily boat diving (local charge) operated by the international dive team. The legendary house reef has several entry/exit points with plenty of colourful marine life along the wall on the south side and the sloping reef on the north. Expect to encounter eagle rays, sharks and schools of large fish. Dive with the current on sites such as Fushi Faru, discover the abundance of macro life at Bikuru Giri and get amongst the diversity of marine life on channel dives at sites such as Kari Beru Thila. In addition it's possible to book on early morning trips and excursions in search of manta rays and whale sharks in season (local charge).
Equipment rental (including cameras) is available (Sea Quest BCDs and Aqua Lung regulators). Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers.
