Located on Hudhuran Fushi island on the eastern edge of the North Malé Atoll, this modern, tranquil resort is a tropical paradise with 157 garden and beach villas plus a further 40 ocean villas built on stilts over the crystal clear water of the lagoon. All rooms are elegantly furnished and feature air-conditioning and en-suite bathroom with contemporary amenities. Lohis Wave is open during surf season and the Beach Grill serves lighter bites throught the day. The Sunset restaurant is exclusive to ocean villa guests and offers an a la carte menu. Located by the pool, the open air Hiyala Bar also serves snacks and features regular entertainment. Those who prefer their cocktails will enjoy the Tiki Bar (also serves shisha).
Those looking to relax can enjoy pristine white sand beaches, yoga sessions and a Chavana spa. In addition diving, snorkelling and numerous water sports (including surfing in season) plus dolphin watching, island hopping and other trips are available. Divepoint are an SSI affiliated dive centre with several bases throughout the Maldives. The dive centre is located on the southwest side of the island complete with jetty and easy access to the dive boats. Fully equipped for training and with plenty of storage space the professional, international crew offer a personal service. The house reef provides a spectacular display of corals and tropical fish with occasional larger visitors such as sharks, turtles, and rays. Other sites are reached by dhoni and are between 5 and 45 minutes away offering divers a wealth of experiences and marine life encounters. Expect to see eagle rays, sharks, hawksbill turtles, infinite reef fish, tiny critters, schools of batfish and snapper, Napoleon wrasse and keep an eye out for manta rays, especially in season (May to Dec).
Full Scupapro equipment is available for rent as well as scooter and Olympus underwater cameras. The centre provides multiple sized tanks (DIN/INT) and children’s equipment. There is a small tank service charge (local payment). Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers.
