Reveries Scuba Zone

Operated by experienced local and European instructors this PADI affiliated dive and water sports centre offers daily boat diving and a full range of courses. Diving is available year-round, with the calmest conditions from December to June. Laamu Atoll is an untouched paradise for divers and snorkellers. Keep an eye out for pods of dolphin around the atoll.

With relatively few channels, photographers and beginner divers have plenty to discover, beautiful hard corals, an abundance of macro life and turtles swimming around the inner reefs. The house reef is a shallow sandy area and home to juvenile fish, octopus and stingrays.

Experienced divers will enjoy the larger pelagic species and fast paced drift dives at the sites in the channels where barracuda, eagle rays, schooling snapper, giant trevally, grey reef and nurse sharks are regularly seen. Plus, manta rays are often seen at the sites in this remote area in the south.

The average water temperature is 28°C and visibility ranges from 20-30 metres on the local dive sites.
