- Drive through the Guayllabamba and Cayambe Valleys to your Hacienda where you spend the night. Explore the surrounding local villages including Calderon, San Antonio de Ibarra, Cotacachi and Peguche which are famous for their bread dough figurines, woodcarvings, leather products and textiles respectively. You will have ample time on Day 2 to visit Otavalo market with its stalls selling tapestries, Indian jewellery, woolen goods, Panama hats and handicrafts before returning to Quito.
