Home to the first inhabitants, the volcanic island of Floreana has an intriguing history, exciting dive sites, colourful beaches, panoramic views, culture and is a nesting area for tropical birds.

Enjoy panoramic views when hiking around Cerro Alieri as well as its unique vegetation. Cormorant Point features two contrasting beaches; one green, one black, but the main highlight is the lagoon, where flamingo wade the muddy waters catching shrimp.

The submerged crater of Devil’s Crown is one of the best snorkelling sites in the Galapagos.

The government has introduced a number of conservation projects on the island to help restore the wildlife and educate the locals on sustainable methods of agriculture.
