Located in the heart of the Amazon, Napo Wildlife Centre is run in conjunction with the local community and is also involved in many different conservation projects.
It is the only lodge in Yasunì National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the largest tract of intact rainforest in Ecuador. The unrivalled natural attractions include two macaw clay licks, 565 bird species, 11 species of monkey, a giant otter family and many other large mammals.
The property's 16 cabañas each have king size and twin beds, en suite bathroom, a prviate balcony with views of the lake and surrounding forest, mosquito nets and celing fans. Facilities include several social areas, a bar, library, restraurant and observation tower providing an incredible 360° view of the surrounding forest and its wildlife. There is also a short trail behind the main house where nocturnal creatures of the jungle make their appearance.
