Whether you’re capturing marine life through your lens, exploring pristine ocean environments, or simply recharging between dives, the Galaxy Diver II is your gateway to an extraordinary underwater journey. Dive into the adventure of a lifetime and discover the Galápagos like never before with this exceptional liveaboard.

Your expedition begins in Santa Cruz with a relaxed check dive near Baltra, allowing you to acclimate to the pristine, crystal-clear waters. From there, set sail towards the renowned dive sites of Darwin and Wolf Islands.

At Wolf Island, dive into Shark Bay and La Ventana Islet, where hammerhead, silky, and Galápagos sharks glide gracefully in their natural environment. Continue the adventure at Darwin Island’s iconic Darwin’s Arch, a legendary site teeming with marine life. Here, you’ll encounter majestic whale sharks, elegant manta rays, and an astonishing array of other sea creatures. This is scuba diving at its finest, offering a rare glimpse into one of the planet’s last untouched ocean frontiers.

The adventure doesn’t stop there. The journey continues to Douglas Cape at Fernandina Island, a pristine and untouched haven where marine iguanas bask on volcanic rocks and playful sea lions frolic along the shoreline. This captivating location offers a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle, showcasing the raw beauty of the Galápagos and its thriving wildlife.

For even more wonders, the boat heads to Vicente Roca Point at Isabela Island, a breathtaking spot famous for its dramatic cliffs and diverse marine life. Here, you can swim alongside mola mola (sunfish), graceful sea turtles, and vibrant schools of reef fish in crystal-clear waters with unparalleled visibility. It’s an underwater experience that’s truly unforgettable.

From exhilarating shark dives to magical encounters with unique marine creatures, every dive in the Galápagos offers an awe-inspiring glimpse into an unmatched underwater world. Galaxy Diver II ensures this extraordinary journey, bringing you face-to-face with the finest marine life our planet has to offer. At the end of your diving itinerary, the journey culminates back in Santa Cruz, where you can extend your stay to further explore the wonders of the Galápagos or venture into Ecuador.

Water temperatures in the Galápagos vary between 16°C and 28°C, influenced by season and location, with most areas ranging from 20°C to 26°C. The western islands, like Isabela and Fernandina, are cooler due to the Humboldt Current, so a 5mm to 7mm wetsuit is recommended for divers. The warmer season (December to May) offers calmer seas and clearer visibility, while June to November brings cooler waters and the chance to see whale sharks.

Year-round, divers can enjoy encounters with hammerhead sharks, manta rays, marine iguanas, and vibrant schools of fish. Note that diving from Zodiacs requires fitness and confidence in the water.
