Day 1. Quito

Morning arrival in Quito and transfer to the characterful Hotel Cafe Cultura, your home for the next three nights. The Cafe Cultura is a small 26-room hotel in a postcolonial building, with white washed walls and traditional terracotta roof tiles

Day 2. Quito [B]

A morning devoted to exploring Quito, one of the first areas named as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO 25 years ago.

Days 3 to 6. The Amazon Rainforest [FB]

Fly into the Amazon Rainforest and explore this fascinating habitat by canoe or on walks, both on terra firma and across board walks or fallen tree trunks, in the company of expert guides. You will stay at Sacha Lodge, in the heart of Ecuador's Amazon Basin.

A haven for nature lovers, birdwatchers, scientists and adventure seekers, Sacha Lodge has been carefully designed to provide comfortable accommodation and preserve the environment and rainforest ambience. The 24 double cabins have ceiling fans, private bathrooms with hot showers, high thatched roofs and private shaded terraces and are constructed with traditional materials to merge well into the lush surroundings. Day 7. Quito [B]

Flight back to Quito from the jungle; upon arrival in Quito transfer to the Cafe Cultura.

Day 8. Onward [B]

Transfer to the airport in Quito for your onward flight.
