The Lodge at Chaa Creek

Chaa Creek Cottages is a jungle lodge in an idyllic setting, overlooking the Macal River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains, near the spectacular Mayan ruins at Tikal.

The focus here is on the area's natural attributes: Stunning surroundings and abundant wildlife. There are nineteen palm-thatched cottage rooms, two suites and an orchard villa on the riverside amongst the lush forest. All have private facilities with hot water and verandah. 'The Camp' is located a kilometre down river and comprises ten raised casitas, each with private porch on which to relax and enjoy the peaceful jungle surroundings. There are many activities on offer such as kayaking down river to San Ignacio, mountain biking, horse riding, or visiting nearby Mayan ruins at Xunantunich. Alternatively, you can simply relax within the lodge's tropical garden, or be pampered in its spa.
