About Us
We are unique to the UK dive market in offering remote and far-flung destinations with liveaboards, resorts, and dive centres the world over. At Dive Worldwide we really do have the ultimate diving collection. Africa, South America or the islands of the South Pacific are high up our list and each of us at Dive has our favourites which we would be delighted to talk you through.
Our friendly and highly professional team of dive enthusiasts will help you create the itinerary of a lifetime. Whether you are looking for a small group departure or a tailor-made holiday, we will provide you with an unforgettable dive experience.
The vision for Dive Worldwide has always been to offer new and exciting destinations that were not readily available to the UK diver. I believe we have done this, and we are now able to offer more variety to more destinations across the globe than any other dive operator. This does not mean we are complacent; it is also a very good reason to get out of the office and in the water!
After more travels around the world we are able to offer you more choice in Indonesia, especially Bali, but also in Raja Ampat. The selection of resorts in Bonaire and Curacao has been updated with a different selection for you to choose from. We have also added Aruba to our Caribbean collection after a very interesting visit. We are very excited about our new trips to Cuba, Panama, Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Island as well as Jordan and Fujairah, part of the UAE. The Maldives is always very popular and so we have been out and about researching new liveaboards and resorts. For those that have been many times before it is now possible to stay on some of the islands in the far north and south of the archipelago, with fewer divers and pristine dive sites.
Keeping up to date with Dive Worldwide is getting easier. You can follow us on Twitter, read our Blog and become a fan of ours on Facebook. We love to let you know what's going on and for you to share your holiday experiences with each other. Keep in touch.
Teresa Bennett - Director
Helen Brown - Dive Consultant
Helen learnt to dive participating in a marine conservation project in Fiji during university. After completing a degree in Tourism, Helen decided to go backpacking and rediscovered her passion for diving. During her three years away, she travelled the globe through South America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Caribbean. She was lucky enough to dive the Great Barrier Reef, the Philippines, Palau, and the Caribbean and by gaining her instructors license, she could teach diving in many of these locations too. She finally decided to come back to the UK and combine the two things in life she loves, diving and travelling and get paid for it! She has been working for Dive Worldwide for two years and during this time she has visited & dived many more destinations such as Fiji, Mozambique & the Red Sea.
Kirsteen Mahoney - Dive Consultant
We welcomed Kirsteen to the office based team in January 2010. Kirsteen first experienced the underwater world on the Great Barrier Reef during a gap year in Australia. Being a poor backpacker she didn't have the funds to complete her PADI Open Water course so on her return to the UK she braved the chilly waters of Brixham in December(!)and duly qualified. Since then she has dived in warmer waters, including Thailand, Egypt, Turkey and the Caribbean. She has a wealth of experience in tailor-made travel and a passion for adventure both above and below the water. She has travelled to all 7 continents, but her favourite destination of all time is Kenya.
Stewart Oak - Website Coordinator
Stewart started out as a travel consultant for Wildlife Worldwide, and after his efforts with the group's sites which were done out of office hours, he went full time as the web coordinator for the whole Worldwide Group in July 2007. He has been in the Travel Industry for over 8 years, and has been involved with web design and management since 1998.
Stewart has always had a strong link to the sea as he was brought up on Hayling Island in Hampshire. His first underwater experience was on a family holiday in Crete as a teenager, when he discovered the delights of snorkelling. He has continued with this fascination in destinations such as St Lucia, Kenya, The Great Barrier Reef, and has recently done an introductory dive with dolphins in Eilat.
