- Days 4 to 9. Dive the wrecks of Truk [RO]
- Truk is where an entire Japanese fleet, frozen in time, sank in February 1944. Complete with sake cups and skeletons, jeeps and tanks tied on board and fighter planes still waiting in the holds; the wrecks have been declared an underwater museum. Nowhere else in the world are there so many wrecks in close proximity, situated in shallow clear water. Many of the wrecks are visible while snorkelling and there are many on-shore wartime locations to visit.
- Day 10. Fly from Truk to Manila [RO]
- Spend a night in Manila before catching a flight to Busuangas the following morning.
- Days 11 to 17. Sangat Island Resort [FB]
- An intriguing insight into the WWII battle of the Sulu Sea, is afforded by the wrecks of Japanese naval support ships sunk here by US carrierbased aircraft. Lying at an average depth of 25-metres, with a maximum of 40-metres, the wrecks make excellent diving for all levels, almost all are in good condition and penetrations are possible for experienced wreck divers.
