- Days 1 & 2. London to Zanzibar [RO]
- Overnight to Dar es Salaam or Nairobi, and onward flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival transfer to your preferred hotel in the heart of Stone Town - Tembo House or Serena Inn - for one night.
- Days 3 to 8. Pemba [FB Manta Reef, AI Fundu Lagoon]
- A short flight away is Pemba Island, where new dive sites are still being discovered. Transfer to either Fundu Lagoon Resort or Manta Reef Lodge for six nights. Pemba Island is severed from the African continental shelf by sheer coral walls that drop down to over 300 metres. Spectacular wall diving, variety of sites, big marine-life and the clarity of the water makes Pemba the best diving location in East Africa.
- Days 9 to 15. Zanzibar Diving [B, Fumba, B,D Breezes]
- Time to depart Pemba and return to Zanzibar, where a series of fringing and atoll reefs provide suitable diving from beginner to advanced. Stay for seven nights at either the Fumba Beach Lodge or Breezes.
The east coast is the oceanic coast of Zanzibar, with untouched reefs facing the open ocean offering great variety of marine life and the possibility of encounters with big oceanic fish. The Rising Sun Dive Centre offers a personalised service, highly qualified instruction and diving in small groups.
- Day 16. Homeward [B]
- Time to transfer to Zanzibar Airport and connect to London, via Nairobi.
- Day 17. Arrive home.
- Tembo House
- is a small hotel situated on the seafront in the centre of Stone Town, and the ideal location for relaxing after a day's sightseeing. Spacious, en-suite rooms are beautifully decorated, with oriental and traditional Zanzibar ornaments, have air-conditioning, mini-bar and TV. Facilities include a swimming pool and the Bahari Restaurant.

Serena Inn
- has impressive architecture that recalls the island's former grandeur. Converted, with great charm, from two historic seafront buildings in Stone Town, Serena has comfortable rooms, each with its own spectacular sea view, and decor that reflects the island's rich Arab influence. There is a relaxing swimming pool area overlooking the Indian Ocean, good restaurants and a relaxed feel.

Fundu Lagoon

Fundu Lagoon is a superb, award-winning beach lodge accessible only by boat, with almost three miles of white sandy beach. . The epitome of a bare foot paradise, a remote and peaceful location. Sixteen rooms, consisting of designer tents, are set under makuti (thatch) roofs on wooden decks all with en-suite facilities, fans & mosquito nets. All the rooms have amazing views; some are situated along the beach front, with the remainder on the hillside having a particularly spectacular outlook. One room is a beach side suite with its own private chill-out deck and plunge pool. An amazing jetty stretches way out into the sea with the jetty bar situated about a third of the way along. A treatment room offers a variety of therapies or, for the more active, there is a PADI dive centre. For the non-diver other water sports include windsurfing, waterskiing and canoe safaris into the mangrove swamps.

Manta Reef Lodge
- is one of the oldest lodges on Pemba. Situated at Ras Kigomasha, and pretty much off the beaten track, the drive to the lodge's deserted location is outstanding. Perched on a small cliff face, the lodge overlooks the beach and has breathtaking views. The rustic feel of the place is enhanced by eleven timber chalets, plain simple decor and huge comfortable rooms. All have mosquito nets, sea views, hot water and en-suite facilities. Diving is by One Earth Diving, offering advanced and novice divers safe, professional instruction. They offer daily two tank dives and regular three tank days, with picnic lunches eaten on private remote beaches in between dives.
