Begin your African safari with a stay at a lodge in Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve which borders the iconic Kruger National Park. Here you'll encounter an incredible diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and hippo.
The rest of your adventure concentrates on the magnificent underwater marine life of southeast Mozambique. The small town of Tofois located on the Indian Ocean coast offering spectacular views of pristine beaches and fantastic diving opportunities. The area is famed for sightings of mantas and whale sharks, while humpback whales also cruise through these waters in season.
Suggested Itinerary
Day1: Depart the UK
Day2: Arrive South Africa and transfer to safari lodge
After clearing customs and immigration, take an onward flight to Nelspruit and onward transfer to the LA Kruger Lifestyle Lodge or similar.
Kruger National Park is world famous for good reason since it offers a wildlife experience which ranks with the best in Africa. It stretches 350 kilometres from north to south and is virtually unrivalled in its diversity of life forms, with 300 species of tree, 49 fish species, 33 amphibian species, 114 reptile species, 507 bird species and 147 mammal species! Notable amongst its mammals are lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, hippo, Nile crocodile, giraffe and both black, and white rhino.
Days3-4: Kruger Safari
Following an early start, you head out each day on a wonderful safari excursion into Kruger National Park. Enjoy two daily safari excursions in your itinerary.
Day5: Fly from Kruger to Mozambique
You will be met in Vilanculos and transferred by car to your accommodation in Tofo, a beautifully scenic four hour drive south. Check in for a seven night stay, with a number of accommodation options to choose from. Evening at leisure.
Days6-11: Mozambique Diving
Explore Tofo’s incredible dive sites, with possible opportunities of seeing manta rays and whale sharks. Your dive pack includes 10 boat dives.
Day12: Depart via South Africa
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to South Africa and onwards to the UK (overnight flight).
Day13: Arrive UK
