Famed for its close encounters with great white sharks, Isla Guadalupe is the ultimate destination for observing these magnificent predators from August through to October.

Isla Guadalupe is a small volcanic island 380 kilometres off the west coast of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula. Due to its extremely clear water and remote location, the island is one of the best places in the world to observe great white sharks. Have your camera ready!

The viewing season begins in July/August when young males begin to arrive and the water temperature is around 22C. Smaller female sharks follow towards the end of August. The larger, more dominant, female sharks can be seen towards the end of the season in October/November.

Reached only by liveaboard, visitors can expect exceptional visibility, often multiple sharks per dive and pristine conditions. Non-divers are welcome. It is nothing short of great white shark heaven!
