This 34 metre luxury liveaboard offers guests unmatched service and comfort, plenty of adventure and possibly the best big fish diving on Earth!

Based most of the year in Cabo San Lucas, this luxurious boat accommodates up to 22 guests and operates a number of exciting dive itineraries throughout the year. The boat is beautifully decorated and the spacious salon features modern electronic equipment to keep you occupied on the long crossings. Each mahogany detailed cabin features comfortable beds, individual air conditioning, en suite shower room and a TV. There is a computer station on board for viewing images during the trips. Dining on board is excellent, with the emphasis on fresh local produce.

Depending on the site and conditions, diving is either from the pangas or from the vessel itself. Access to the water from the boat is very easy, thanks to entry gates on both sides and a custom-built double swim step. There is a spacious dive deck with a huge, multi-level camera table complete with charging stations and an air gun, four large rinse bins and two fresh water showers. Nitrox is mandatory on this sailing, if you are not qualified it's possible to take the course on board.

The most popular itinerary is to visit the Revillagigedos Archipelago in the Tropical Eastern Pacific – Socorro, as it’s more commonly known. The Socorro Islands are 400 kilometres south, at the tip of the Baja peninsula, and are renowned for their BIG animal encounters. The eight night itineraries include Socorro, San Benedicto and Roca Partida islands (weather permitting) and operate from Nov-Jun. Highlights on this amazing adventure include giant Pacific manta rays, inquisitive dolphins, seven different shark species and migrating humpback whales. Time it right, and you may be lucky enough to get a whale shark encounter too!

From late June to the end of October, the Solmar V can be found in the glimmering Sea of Cortez. These, usually weeklong, itineraries are led by local guides with expert knowledge of the area. Activities include snorkelling with sea lions, scuba diving at Isla San Jose and kayaking in small local rivers, visiting ancient caves where pre-historical paintings can be seen and then enjoying ATV rides in the desert. Combining sea, sun, mountains, wildlife, and culture all in a single trip, it truly provides a slice of the wild Baja life.
