Nautilus Explorer is a luxury 40 metre liveaboard catering for experienced divers seeking advanced, and sometimes challenging, diving in remote destinations.

The flagship of the Nautilus Fleet, this custom built liveaboard features 12 staterooms and a premium two-room suite. The lower deck features eight staterooms with various bedding configurations and a triple occupancy (mixed gender) cabin with a bunk and double bed. All have porthole windows. Three superior suites are located on the wheelhouse deck alongside Emerald, the premium suite offering panoramic ocean views. All cabins are air-conditioned, with en-suite facilities and offer ample storage space. Wi-Fi internet access is available on board.

The boat features modern, spacious amenities suited for divers. The main salon, dining area and bar are surrounded by huge panoramic windows giving guests great views to the surrounding world. The dive deck complemented by a water level platform giving divers plenty of room to move around. There are ample camera tables and charging stations on board. The boat is Rebreather friendly and Nitrox is available.

The boat visits Guadalupe Island Jul-Nov, prime season for great white shark encounters. Trips are five nights and diving is operated in cages, observing the sharks from a safe distance. Travel time to the island is 20 hours and is worth every minute! The boat moves to ensure the best shark encounters and the cages are built to maximise safety and comfort with excellent viewing and photography characteristics, providing divers with total freedom of movement and a 360 degree panoramic visibility. The next few days are spent in the water as much as possible to ensure maximum shark sightings. Non-divers are welcome.

The Nautilus Explorer voyages out to Socorro Island most of the year to dive and interact with the friendliest, majestic giant Pacific mantas (manta birostris) in the world. As well as mantas you can expect plenty of species of sharks (including schooling hammerheads), pods of dolphin, humpback whales (Jan-Apr) and whale sharks at different times throughout the year. You will also have the opportunity of a night snorkel with silky sharks. It takes over a day to get out to this remote location and on a regular nine day trip you’ll have five memorable days at famous sites of the Revillagigedo archipelago, including Socorro, San Benedicto and Roca Partida.
