Sun Dancer II Liveaboard - Belize

Underwater Belize offers a combination of reefs blanketed with coral and sponge growth and walls beginning as shallow as 6-12 metres and extraordinarily diverse marine life - from schools of tarpon, turtles and stingrays to a wide variety of tropical species.

Luxurious, yet practical, Sun Dancer II carries a maximum of twenty passengers in ten en-suite staterooms, most have TV/VCR and all but the Owner's Suite have picture view windows. On the Main Deck are two Master Staterooms, with queen-sized bed, and seven Deluxe Staterooms, with either two twin beds or one king-sized bed. On the Dolphin Deck is the Owner's Suite, with two twin beds or one king-sized bed, and porthole views at either side of the cabin.

Meals are one of the highlights of the day with freshly baked breads and cakes and snacks available throughout the day. Wine is served with dinner. On board service is superb, with a crew of ten on hand at all times.

Guests can dive up to five times a day between the morning dive and the night dive. The vessel usually moves two or three times each day, visiting the famed Blue Hole and other sites on Lighthouse Reef and Turneffe Islands, depending upon weather conditions. A shore excursion to Half Moon Caye is a fabulous opportunity to beach-comb and to see the wonderful Red Footed Boobys.

The dive deck features two showers, fresh towels, a water fountain, mask defogging station and rinse tanks for cameras. For the keen photographer, there is a spacious photo-table with photo supplies, a camera and video rental service, daily E-6 processing and a photo professional to assist you with your photography. Light tables are available for slide viewing, and slide presentations are scheduled each evening throughout the charter.

For safety and convenience a special hanging bar is raised and lowered from the dive platform and maintained at a constant five metres below the boat during dives. Nitrox is available, along with courses and a full range of diving equipment.
