This itinerary can be taken to include transfers or alternatively a car is included for a self-drive.
Day 1. Depart London
Fly overnight to Durban, via Johannesburg.
Days 2 to 5. Aliwal Shoal [B]
Transfer from Durban Airport to Umkomaas - gateway to South Africa's world famous Aliwal Shoal. Aliwal Shoal has been rated as one of the best sites in the world to see Ragged Tooth Sharks and Giant Guitar Sharks.
Days 6 to 8. Hluhluwe Safari [B]
Transfer to Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve for a fascinating wildlife encounters in one of South Africa's favourite parks. The game reserve is home to Africa's 'Big 5', Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and both the Black and the White Rhino. Viewing hides overlook pans and waterholes enabling you to observe Africa's wildlife at close range. (See page 18 for more information).
Days 9 to 12. Sodwana Bay [B,D]
Fish from many oceans and seas of the world converge on this coast, giving an unrivalled diversity of species. The bay is home to at least 25 species of sharks and rays and five species of sea turtle.
Day 13. Transfer to Durban Airport and your flight home.
Day 14. Arrive back in the UK.
