Tobago is an ecological haven, with 210 species of birds, ancient tropical rainforests, protected Leatherback, and Green Turtles. The Caribbean Sea laps its north shore and the Atlantic Ocean rolls on to its south, with nutrient-rich waters Tobago has some of the best diving in the world. There are many gentle dives suitable for beginners, whilst experienced divers can enjoy challenging drift dives.In suitable weather, experienced divers should head for a rocky outcrop called 'The Sisters,' and a population of Scalloped Hammerheads.
