Undersea Tobago
Undersea Tobago is the on-site PADI dive centre at Coco Reef Resort. They offer boat diving to local sites, departing from the resort's private beach. The experienced and knowledgeable team have been exploring these waters for years and will ensure they show you the very best Tobago has to offer.
Diving varies from coast to coast. Down south along the Caribbean and South coast dive sites you can expect to see moray eels, hawksbill turtles, wrecks, colourful reefs, nurse sharks, stingrays and schooling barracuda amongst the coral reefs and rocky ledges. Popular sites include Mount Irvine Wall, a shallow sponge and coral encrusted site with resident seahorse and queen angel fish as well as the wreck of the MV Maverick, Flying Reef and Majeston, famed for its lobster population. Experienced divers should keep an eye out for eagle rays when at Diver's Thirst site.
A full range of PADI courses are available as is equipment rental and Nitrox (32%). Snorkellers are also catered for. Water temperature ranges from 24 to 28C and visibility from 12 to 27 metres. Please note there is no diving on a Sunday.
