Ramon’s Village Resort is a tropical hideaway located on the beach of Ambergris Caye and only minutes from Hol Chan Marine Park, where an exciting array of marine life awaits.
The charm of the Caribbean is obvious here, with 61 thatched roof cabanas and suites, all built from native materials and located on the beach or nestled in the colourful tropical gardens. The two-storey buildings provide a secluded hideaway with comfortable furnishings and amenities including air conditioning, fan, fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer and safe. WiFi internet access is available throughout the resort free of charge.
Located along a 150 metre stretch of beach, facilities include the Purple Parrot smoothie bar, Pineapples open air beachfront restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Sea, a lagoon style swimming pool, gift shop, library, hammocks, beach spa, golf cart rental, business centre, conference suite, wedding service and dive centre. Boat trips, water sports and other local activities can be arranged.
Ramon’s is a short walk from San Pedro town, a relaxed, informal place full of life, eateries and shops. Once a small fishing village, this is the largest settlement on Ambergris Caye and enjoys a comfortable balance between locals and visitors where walking and cycling are the preferred modes of transport.
Established in 1986, the PADI 5-star IDC centre offers daily boat diving along the barrier reef, full day trips to the outer atolls and a full range of courses for anyone interested in learning or improving their skills. There are six well equipped dive boats in operation, ensuring plenty of space for everyone. The majority of dive sites are within 20 minutes of the resort. Nitrox is available.
