Turks & Caicos Explorer II

The Turks & Caicos Explorer ll is a purpose built dive boat operating diving adventures around the clear turquoise waters of this Caribbean nation.

This purpose built luxurious dive boat cruises the islands of the Turks and Caicos throughout the year. Accommodating 20 passengers in ten air-conditioned stateroom cabins, the boat features all the modern conveniences divers have come to expect. The two VIP cabins are furnished with a queen bed and are located on the boat deck beside a spacious and comfortable sun lounging area. The main deck features five cabins which feature either a queen bed or twin configuration. The lower deck includes three cabins with twin bunk beds. All cabins have port lights or windows and en-suite bathroom facilities.

On board, the flybridge has an awning covered area with plenty of seating, a BBQ, wet bar and helm station; a popular place for guests to relax after a dive. The main deck features a large air-conditioned salon where breakfast and dinner are served as well as an entertainment centre and the galley. The aft half of the deck is dedicated to diving and its here that all the facilities can be found; lockers, camera table, recharge station, rinse tanks, showers and a bathroom. Large stairways lead down to the dive deck which features two ladders for easy access to the water.

Up to five dives a day are offered on the week long itineraries, directly from the boat. Highlights include famous sites such as Black Coral Forest, Shark Hotel, G-spot for the giant gorgonians and Double-D for spotted eagle rays. Expect a profusion and variety of marine life, great visibility and little current. There is little change in the air and water temperatures with the average for both being 25C. Nitrox and solo diving are available for suitably qualified divers.

The boat departs Provo every Saturday on a week long itinerary around the islands of the Turks and Caicos.
