Dive Worldwide can offer an exciting ten day Sardine Run itinerary, with a dedicated expedition guide and a dedicated Microlite to help co-ordinate the expedition. You will be based in luxury accommodation, with all meals provided by a professional catering service, and offered a range of other activities along this magnificent coast.

Dive Worldwide, working in conjunction with an expert South African dive operator that specialises in the Sardine Run, are offering a range of expeditions in 2009 and 2010 that will maximise the chances of witnessing this natural phenomenon. Each itinerary will vary, according to sardine activity but, even if the sardines are late, or do not appear, their predators will still be waiting - offering exhilarating diving!

You will be based in a coastal lodge, primarily Myboti River Lodge, on a secluded area of the Transkei coast, from where the dive boats are launched. Divers are organised into small groups of about seven, with their own boat and dive master. Boats operate independently from one another receiving guidance from the microlight spotter. It may also be possible to experience the action from the air in a microlight. Although there will be diving when ever the weather conditions permit there will also be many encounters whilst snorkelling in order to see as much as possible in a very fast and hectic environment. Although the focus of the expedition is to provide adventure and excitement within the bounds of responsible tourism it must be stressed that safety is of paramount importance at all times.

Other activities such as horse riding, hiking and cultural visits will also be possible along this beautiful and remote part of the coast.
