Actually two Islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh, the fabulous landside scenery extends down below the water line into the aquamarine waters of Phang Nga Bay. Limestone cliffs plunge underwater, forming the colourful soft coral walls for which Phi Phi is famous. Caves, overhangs and swim throughs have been carved into the soft rock leaving plenty of homes for the marine life. There are more than 15 different dive sites with many rugged walls, interesting caves and cavern penetrations. Swim-through entrances are often obscured by dazzling clouds of glassfish and gorgonians. Sea fans harbour pipefish, seahorses and shrimpfish, keeping even the most experienced divers entertained.

In many places, the islands are fringed with shallow coral gardens, where hard and soft corals and sponges prosper harmoniously amongst the myriad marine life. Here's your best opportunity to see the Green and Hawksbill Turtle, Blacktip Reef Sharks and Leopard Sharks.

Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort & Spa
The resort lies nestle amidst towering coconut trees and rich vegetation on Loh Ba Gao bay, fronted by a 800 metre beautiful beach and overlooking the spectacular scenery of the Andaman Sea. Phi Phi Island Village is set in a private bay and is surrounded by mountains cliffs and jungle. The shaded beach and coral reef running 150 metres off shore make this perfect for snorkelling.

The resort consists of 100 traditional Thai-style bungalows and 12 Hillside Pool Villas, all beautifully furnished and offering a selection of private settings and garden or sea views. Choose from Beachfront Junior Suites with sea views or Standard Garden View Bungalows, all of which allow guests the opportunity to enjoy the serenity and wonder of their exquisite surroundings from private balconies. All are within a short walk from the beach.

Guests can choose from a range of dining options offering local specialties and international favourites with a choice of restaurants and bars. Facilities include a swimming pool, tour desk and spa area. Phi Phi Dive Village PADI 5-star, Gold Palm Resort offers a full range of PADI courses. The friendly, professional staff takes groups of a maximum of six divers on up to four dives per day including day trips and night dives with the use of a custom built catamaran speedboat.
