Located in the southeast corner of the South Ari Atoll, Vilamendhooo Island Resort is surrounded by tropical palm trees, and sits alongside a turquoise lagoon and 900 metre wide sand beach.
Vilamendhoo features 184 rooms with a choice of garden, beach view or water villa. The modern rooms are complete with amenities such as air-conditioning, safe, TV, partially open air bathroom and a private porch.

Euro Divers
Euro Divers Vilamendhoo is located on a private jetty, a few metres from the house reef. The reef has ten entry/exit points around the island, suitable for snorkellers and divers on the unlimited shore diving package. There are over 40 dive sites to explore including reefs, wrecks and channel dives. A range of PADI courses are available.
Experienced divers can explore the house reef from the shore for most of the week, but it's possible to get out on the dhoni to some incredible dive sites such as Vilamendhoo Caves (rays and sharks) and Khudarah Thila, a protected marine area and a very popular dive, famous for its soft corals and abundant fish life. There are plenty of channel dives where you can drift along looking out for large pelagic encounters, including turtles, sharks and rays. There are a few wrecks to explore and day trips to look for manta rays and whale sharks.
Fluoro and sidemount diving are available here and Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers.
