Located on the southern-most inhabited island in the Vava’u archipelago, this resort comprises four traditional Tongan falés, all boasting spectacular, private beach views and the opportunity to watch whales from your accommodation!

The eco-resort utilises solar panels to supply power and adaptors are available so that cameras and phones can be charged. A walkway connects your accommodation to the restaurant, bar and well stocked library. WiFi internet access is available.

Dive Centre

Dive Vava’u is PADI, NAUI, SDI, TDI and IANTD (Technical) affiliated and collect divers each morning to explore the fascinating local dive sites. Mounu in Tongan means ‘bait fish’, and huge numbers of sardines shoal in the shallow waters around the island. During the summer months, turtles nest on the island and humpback whales inhabit the waters from Jul-Nov. Facilities include a full service photographic and video centre. Nitrox is available.
