Blue Waters Inn is a boutique haven in the northeast of Tobago. The beachfront property looks out over Batteaux Bay and is surrounded by tropical rainforest; an ideal base for divers, nature lovers and bird watchers.

Laid back and informal, the property features 38 seafacing rooms and bungalows in a tranquil, tropical beachside setting. Well appointed, the elegant accommodations feature air-conditioning, fan and en-suite bathroom with a king or twin beds, mini safe, kettle and a private outdoor balcony or patio. Complimentary WiFi internet access is available in most parts of the property.

Facilities include the Aqua bar and restaurant with indoor and al fresco dining options as well as an infinity swimming pool, hot tub and sun terrace all on the beachfront. The air-conditioned games room houses a large screen TV and the outdoor multi-sport court is suitable for tennis and basketball enthusiasts.

Palm fringed and dappled by seagrape, there are magnificent views of Goat Island and Little Tobago across the bay. Head here by stand up paddle board or kayak, both available free of charge. The property is located in a tranquil bay, safe for swimming and snorkelling. Transfer time to the airport is an 85 minute drive.

Tobago Dive Experience

The PADI affiliated dive centre operates daily boat dives to a choice of 30 nearby dive sites. The dive centre is situated between Speyside Inn and Blue Waters Inn, transfers can be provided, or you can enjoy the short walk along the tropic beach front.

The diving experience here is mainly drifting along with the strong currents, thus recommended for experienced divers. Expect to encounter rays, turtles and nurse sharks amongst a plethora of colourful fish species. The shallow sloping Japanese Gardens is populated by sponges, the large brain coral can be seen here and the natural amphitheatre of Bookends is a spectacle.

Dawn and night dives are also available and special excursions can be arranged to visit sites such as Sisters and London Bridge, known for their spectacular topography and larger marine life.
