This adventure includes two of Fiji's top diving spots. Somosomo Strait offers magnificent soft coral dives and Beqa Lagoon, a shark encounter like no other.
With its 330 islands surrounded by reefs and the entire spectrum of tropical underwater terrain, Fiji certainly has variety and this itinerary will help you experience some of this incredible diversity. Encounter areas teeming with marine life, multi-coloured soft corals and magnificent hard corals as well as numerous shark species and plenty more.
This itinerary includes a week in Beqa Lagoon, home of the exhilarating shark dive and a week exploring the soft coral sites of Somosomo Strait from Taveuni Island along the Rainbow Reef.
You will be met on arrival and transferred to Pacific Harbour. On arrival check-in for a week long stay at the Uprising Beach Resort. Alternatively, enjoy a stay at the Pearl South Pacific Resort or Waidroka Bay Resort.
Today your five day/ten dive pack begins. This includes a mix of three days of reef diving and two days of shark diving around Beqa Lagoon.
Take time to visit a local village or engage in a topside activity. There’s a lot to choose from in this location of the main island regarded as the adventure capital.
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your scenic flight to Taveuni where you will be met on arrival and transferred to Garden Island Resort. Check-in for a week long stay.
Today you will begin your five day/ten dive pack with the on-site dive centre.
Fed by the nutrient rich waters that flow through the Somosomo Strait, Taveuni’s Rainbow Reef is home to one of the world’s greatest displays of soft coral and the White Wall, visted by divers from around the world.
Time to relax by the pool or head off on a cultural tour on Taveuni island.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Nadi where you will spend a final night at the airport hotel before your departure flight.
