The Pearl Resort is located in Pacific Harbour, the adventure capital of Fiji, and offers luxurious accommodation, exquisite cuisine and as much or as little adventure and relaxation as you want.
Surrounded by a lush tropical landscape on an idyllic beach, the resort offers offers a choice of accommodation from a garden or ocean view room to an indulgent themed penthouse suite. All 78 rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished and feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, balcony or terrace with panoramic views, satellite TV and WiFi internet access.
Other facilities include a variety of restaurants and bars, swimming pool, gym, spa, nanny service, water sports activities and a golf course. The Arts and Cultural Village is opposite the resort and shopping trips or adventurous excursions can be booked locally. All diving is provided by Aqua-Trek, who are based just across the road.
Aqua-Trek has received global recognition for its part in promoting shark conservation and sustainable tourism. Two shark Marine Reserves have been created, involving the Fijian people in the protection of sharks. It is here that the Ultimate Shark Encounter operates with adventurous divers enjoying the sight of bull, white tip, black-tip, nurse, lemon, grey, silvertip and occasionally, tiger sharks. The levy from this particular dive goes directly to local villages to fund educational programmes and community improvement.
Based at the Pearl Resort, Aqua-Trek facilitate a number of hotels in the Pacific Harbour area. They can conduct a full range of PADI courses, and equipment is available to hire is required.
