Begin your adventure by exploring the Great Astrolabe Reef, one of the largest barrier reefs in the world. This reef encompasses Kadavu, which is Fiji's fourth-largest island. Here you can expect year-round manta rays encounter on various cleaning stations, a tremendous variety of marine life and beautiful coral gardens in the marine park at Naiqoro Passageway. Time your holiday for encounters with short-finned pilot and humpback whales, both seasonal visitors from June to October.
Located on the southern shores of Viti Levu, Beqa Lagoon is famous for some of the best shark diving, where scuba divers often encounter up to eight different species, including bull sharks and tiger sharks. The reef dives are impressive and include a huge pinnacle at Joes Best, a soft coral encrusted wreck at Carpet Cove and for the photographers the Seven Sisters offers towering pinnacles.
This itinerary is based on a weeks stay in Kadavu, followed by five nights at the Waidroka Bay Resort, in Pacific Harbour & Beqa Lagoon. All resorts in the Beqa Lagoon area can facilitate shark diving, talk to our Dive team to find the perfect resort for you.
On arrival in Nadi, you transfer to the domestic terminal for a short flight to Kadavu. You’re met on arrival, and it’s time to kick off your shoes. Transfers to Oneta Resort are conducted by boat directly from the beach. Check-in for a week-long stay.
Whether you’re snorkelling or scuba diving, it's possible to see manta rays all year round in Kadavu. Experience a blend of hard and soft corals, reef fish, critters and manta ray interactions at the 20 or so dive sites on the Great Astrolabe Reef that encircles Kadavu island.

This evening you head back to Nadi and depart Fiji, landing in the UK the following day.
