A popular itinerary which offers divers the chance of thresher shark encounters in Malapascua, a unique dive in Moalboal and plenty of discovery in the Visayas region.
Discover the Visayas takes you to the Moalboal peninsula for a unique dive around Pescador Island with its resident sardine baitball and then to the tiny island of Malapascua, renowned for its early morning thresher shark dives on Monad Shoal.
Underwater highlights include magnificent reefs, turtle encounters, plenty of macro life and a relaxed pace of life at two small and welcoming dive resorts.
We recommend five nights in each destination - in any order, but you can stay as long as you like!
Spend your days diving the local reefs of the Moalboal peninsula, including Pescador Island and the sardine baitball. Your dive package includes 10 dives here.
Days7-11: Transfer to Malapascua to dive with thresher sharks
Spend your days diving the local reefs around Malapascua including early morning dives at Monad Shoal for thresher shark encounters (12 dives). Your dive package may vary depending on where you stay.
Day12: Depart Cebu
Transfer to Cebu and begin your journey back to the UK.
Day13: Arrive UK
