This small 16 room diving resort, located on the beach in Malapascua, is owned and operated by two well qualified and experienced instructors, and offers a comprehensive range of dive courses.
Offering an incredible service and plenty of fun at the Craic House Bar, the emphasis at Evolution Resort is on enjoying the local dive sites, respecting the environment and evolving as divers. The dive centre operates four boat dives each day including the early morning trip to see the thresher sharks. Divers also have the choice to spend time on the house reef. Popular local dive sites include Bugtong Bato and Lapus Lapus. During your stay it's possible to take a day trip to Gato Island and also dive the Dona Marilyn and Cebu Pioneer if you enjoy wrecks and have the necessary qualification. The resort is CCR rebreather friendly and Nitrox is available.

Evolution Dive
The on-site dive centre is a PADI 5-star Resort and TDI 5-star Instructor Training facility offering a comprehensive range of diving courses from open water to instructor level for both recreational and technical diving enthusiasts.
The experienced crew operate four fun dives each day from their custom-built bangka boats. These include the early morning trip to see the thresher sharks at Monad Shoal. Divers also have the choice to spend time on the house reef and look for seahorse, crinoid squat lobster, imperial shrimp and plenty more critters. In addition to these amazing sites, Malapascua and surrounds offers some of the best all-round diving experiences with a choice of shallow, deep, reef and wreck sites.
Popular local dive sites include Bugtong Bato - a pinnacle with resident bat fish and Lapus Lapus for its incredible soft corals and macro marine life. At least two day trips to Gato Island are recommended, especially for photographers due to the biodiversity of subjects here. In addition, it’s possible to dive the Dona Marilyn and Cebu Pioneer if you enjoy wrecks and have the necessary qualifications.
A full range of equipment is available to rent. It is CCR Rebreather friendly and Nitrox and Trimix are available. The dive resort is owner operated by two of the most experienced instructors on the island. They support Shark Guardian, a British charity created to advance the conservation of sharks around the world, plus, they hold a PADI Green Star award demonstrating their dedication to conservation and sustainable resort and diving practices.
