A perfect trip for divers seeking thresher shark encounters at Monad Shoal and the historical wrecks of Coron Bay.

An off shoot from our Island Hopping Safari, this itinerary is first spent exploring the historical wrecks of Coron Bay. On the northern tip of Palawan, the Japanese supply fleet was sunk during an air raid towards the end of the second world war. Gun boats, sub chasers, cargo and supply vessels in addition to a seaplane tender provide plenty to discover.

Your second week takes you to the beautiful island of Malapascua at the northern tip of Cebu, in the Visayas. Surrounded by bright white sandy beaches, broken up by small rocky outcrops and clear blue waters, Malapascua is famous the world over for its thresher sharks, which are seen daily in the waters surrounding the island, specifically at Monad Shoal.

If you're looking for a longer stay, you can mix and match any resorts in the Visayas region.
