Starting in Cairo, the itinerary takes in the pyramids of Giza and the history of Cairo, before an odyssey to the far south of Egypt’s Red Sea coast for world-class diving away from the crowds.
Hamata sits opposite the remote and spectacular Fury Shoal reef system, offering the opportunity of vibrant coral reef dives and exceptional biodiversity. In total, there are 35 dives sites to enjoy, plus an extensive house reef to explore.

Day 1:
Depart for Cairo
On arrival, you are met and transferred to your accommodation in Cairo for the next two nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2:
Explore Cairo
Enjoy a full day tour to the key sites of the most famous historical place in Cairo to pyramids of Giza, which are known as the last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, dating back to 4,000 years ago. You also visit the remarkable Sphinx before proceeding to the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the golden collection of King Tutankhamen's treasures and other unique collections covering the Egyptian history.

Day 3:
Continue to Egypt’s southern Red Sea coast
Fly south to Marsa Alam and continue your journey by road to Hamata, the gateway to Egypt’s fabulous southern reefs. Check in to your
resort, relax, and prepare for your diving adventure.

Days 4-8
:
Enjoy five days of diving on beautiful coral reefs
Hamata is the gateway to the Fury Shoals reef system; one of Egypt’s finest but least known systems. The region supports some of the most exceptional corals in the Red Sea, blossoming into wonderful coral gardens and pinnacles teeming with marine life. In addition to daily boat diving opportunities, there is also an extensive house reef to explore.

Day at leisure
Today is at leisure to explore the local area or relax on the beach.

Depart for the UK
Transfer by road back to the airport for your return journey back to the UK.
