Discover the historical Japanese WWll wrecks of Coron Bay and Truk Lagoon and experience perhaps the best wreck diving trip in the world.
An unforgettable adventure for wreck enthusiasts. Begin your journey at Sangat Island Dive Resort in the Philippines. Located in the heart of Coron Bay the resort offers easy access to the shallow gun boats, huge freighters and other vessels of the Japanese supply fleet that met their watery grave in September 1944.
The journey continues to Truk Lagoon, considered by many as the world's finest wreck diving destination. Truk Lagoon is home to an entire Japanese fleet, sunk in 1944. Frozen in time, complete with sake cups and skeletons, jeeps and tanks still tied on board, and fighter planes still waiting in the hangars, the area has been declared an underwater museum. We recommend a land-based stay at Blue Lagoon Resort or, for an alternative experience, board the MV Odyssey and enjoy the same sites by liveaboard.
