The Sea Pearl liveaboard is a traditional Dutch sailing vessels that blends rustic charm with comfortable accommodation, and offers adventure and relaxation as it cruises around the Seychelles.
Imbued with its own special history, the Sea Pearl liveaboard preserves its elegant testimony of the past while offering a distinctive experience for today’s modern traveller. The two-masted topsail schooner has a beautiful rustic exterior and well-maintained wooden finishings with cosy, comfortable accommodation.
Sea Pearl features six double cabins with additional single bunk and two triple cabins (three bunks), all feature air-conditioning. Shared facilities on board include four showers, three toilets and a deck shower. The vessels is equipped to host up to 16 divers with a flexible itinerary including snorkelling, diving, island excursions and other activities. A minimum of eight dives are offered during the week. The crew includes a PADI instructor and equipment is available to rent.
Explore underwater granite seascapes alongside schools of pelagic species such as jacks, barracuda and tuna. The waters are home to colourful tropical fish, shark, rays, turtles and plenty of marine life. Some of the best dive sites around the inner islands are only accessible on board one of these unique vessels.
Departing on a Saturday, weekly trips are operated year round on both vessels, sailing slightly different routes depending on the season. From May-Oct the trips are six night cruises beginning in Praslin. Visit and explore Mahé, Praslin, La Digue, Curieuse and a number of smaller remote islands en-route. You will have the chance to explore uninhabited islands, cycle, hike, snorkel, dive, encounter giant tortoises, see the famous Coco de Mer coconut and step foot on one of the most photographed beaches in the world, Anse Source D’Argent. Diving is only half the adventure!
Complimentary activities include kayaking, snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding. Please note that all itineraries must pay a conservation fee locally.
