Spend a week on board a charming traditional schooner, visiting some of the best dive sites around the Seychelles’ inner islands.
The Seychelles Dive Safari provides a dedicated dive experience for qualified divers wanting to maximise their bottom time and discover the widest variety of unique dive sites throughout the inner plateau of this tropical archipelago.
These week long trips have been chosen to coincide with the calmest seas, so longer distances can be travelled allowing the boat to venture to more out of the way open sea dive sites with their dramatic scenery and plentiful marine life. Most dives are done from the tender offering better access to sites on remote islands. Visibility is at its best during these months (up to 30 metres) and the unique geological phenomenon of the inner island plateau has resulted in stunning flora and fauna both above and below the water. The onboard instructor will ensure that all divers' needs are met and there are charging facilities and areas for divers with cameras. The average temperature is 30C and dive sites vary from 8-28 metres.
The primary focus on these dedicated diving weeks is the underwater world but non-divers are welcome and there's plenty to keep them busy - visits to remote island sanctuaries and nature reserves as well as snorkelling or kayaking opportunities.
