This traditional phinisi is one of the most spacious vessels in the Siren Fleet, and offers a variety of itineraries throughout the Philippines, depending on the season.
There are designated areas for photographers and their equipment, a spacious dining area and up to 16 guests on each trip. The large air-conditioned cabins are furnished with an audio-visual entertainment system, en-suite bathroom and luxury amenities, including hair dryers and controlled mood lighting. The boat explores the Philippines throughout the year making the most of the outstanding variety available in this region at the heart of the Coral Triangle.
Up to four dives a day operate from the accompanying tenders. Diving equipment is available to hire and both 12 and 15 litre DIN and international valve tanks are available. Nitrox is available at supplement cost for qualified divers.
Trips vary in length from six to twelve nights, with some speciality trips scheduled catering for photographers and families. With a fantastic variety in dive sites, the ten night southern Visayas trips (Jan, Feb and Jun, Jul) visit the islands of Apo, Cebu, Cabilao, Panglao, Balicasag, Sumilon and Pescador searching for critters and large pelagics species including sharks.
One of the most popular trips is to the Tubbataha Reef (Mar to May) only accessible by liveaboard. The marine and bird sanctuary consists of two huge atolls offering outstanding universal value in terms of marine life species, diversity and richness, both on its shallow reefs and sheer walls.
The boat also combines Malapascua with the Visayas on longer ten and thrteen night itineraries from Jul to Sep and Southern Leyte from Dec to Feb.
It's possible to combine a liveaboard trip with a few days in resort, extending your Philippine diving experience.
