MV Emperor Explorer

Dive the best of the Maldives on seven and ten night itineraries from the stylish contemporary Emperor Explorer liveaboard, the flagship vessel of the hugely popular Emperor Maldives fleet.

Offering spacious cabins and relaxation spaces, fine dining, the MV Emperor Explorer combines luxury and exceptional service with great diving for her guests.

With a generous length of 42 metres, she accommodates 26 guests in 13 comfortable cabins. The MV Emperor Explorer also offers clientele the opportunity to dine under the stars, a well appointed air-conditioned salon, and a mix of outdoor relaxation areas complete with deck chairs and bean bags.

Each cabin benefits from en-suite facilities and individually controlled air-conditioning. Seven lower deck cabins are configured with either a double and additional single bed, or simply a double bed. The main deck features a further two cabins with a double and a single bed, while the upper deck has two twin cabins, and 2 king size double cabins. Main and upper deck cabins carry additional supplements.

Seven and ten night itineraries are offered, cruising the Central Atolls of the Maldives, with highlights including manta rays, nurse sharks and whale sharks. Occasional southern itineraries are offered in the peak months for shark encounters from January to March. All diving is conducted from a dhoni vessel that accompanies the main boat, as is customary in the Maldives. The dhoni is fully equipped with compressors, tanks and oxygen.
