Pacific Master

The Pacific Master liveaboard (formerly the Solomons PNG Master) plies the waters of the Pacific, offering the chance to discover rarely visited areas with thrilling itineraries to the wreck diving meccas of the Bikini Atoll and Truk Lagoon.

Accommodating 20 guests, this 30 metre steel hulled vessel features 12 cabins with a choice of single, twin (some bunks) or double bed configuration. The twin and double cabins on the upper deck have en-suite bathroom and individual air-conditioning units. The lower deck cabins have shared facilities. The vessel has a furnished sun deck and a shaded communal area on the upper deck. The main deck features a spacious air-conditioned dining and lounge area with TV, library, camera table and charging station.

Up to four dives a day are offered from the main boat and tenders are also used. The spacious dive deck caters for photographers as well as having five shower cubicles. It’s possible to rent equipment and the tanks have both DIN and INT valves. The boat is Tech and Rebreather friendly. Nitrox is available.

Between May and September, exciting 10, 11 and 13-night itineraries are available exploring the Bikini Atoll. Bikini Lagoon is widely considered to be the pinnacle for serious wreck divers, with technical experience required to join these cruises. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the lagoon hides an extraordinary collection of historic shipwrecks, including the USS Saratoga aircraft carrier. Part of the Marshall Islands, the wider Bikini Atoll also plays host to thriving reefs and incredible marine life. The number of dives is limited on Bikini itineraries due to the nature of diving on offer.

Between October and April, the Pacific Master focuses on another legendary wreck diving location, Truk Lagoon. Itineraries of 7, 9 and 10-nights are offered to explore the magnificent wrecks of this region, where an entire Japanese WWII fleet was sunk in situ.
