Whether you're diving or like to keep your feet on dry land, Temple Point Resort will deliver everything you want for an exciting Kenyan holiday.
The whole resort and accommodation embody the spirit of Kenya. Thatched roofed buildings with bright white interiors are complemented with local art and dark wood beams. Creek Deluxe rooms enjoy a creek view and sunset vistas, and feature cable TVs. Boutique Garden rooms offer peace nestled in lush greenery, whilst the standard rooms make simplicity cosy and welcoming. All accommodation options include a fan, air-conditioning, WiFi, hairdryer, mosquito net, safe, and minibar.
Golf, stand-up paddleboarding, and kite surfing are all available at the resort. There's a superb spa and a full range of yoga classes for rejuvenation when you need to relax after all the excitement. Relaxing by one of the pools is always an option; Bazaar offers poolside food, and Lichthaus allows you to laze in a hammock and watch the sunset suspended over the creek.
Kenya is stunning; if you want to see more of it, then you’re at the right place. Watch the sunset from the Marafa Canyon, spot elephants in Arabuko Sokoke Forest, or arrange a safari. Tsavo National Park is close enough for a day safari to spot elephant, giraffe and zebra and, if you’re lucky, the majestic lion.
Extra Divers Temple Point
Extra Divers is located at Temple Point Resort on the banks of Mida Creek, so you can go diving regardless of the tide.
Watamu Marine National Park reefs are home to an array of life, from rays and morays to glassfish and lobster. Macro hunters will enjoy spotting nudibranchs, shrimp, and ghost moray eels. There are various sites to suit every experience level; choose from 16 sites ranging in depth from eight to 40 metres. Dive trips leave both morning and afternoon.
Extra Divers offers hired gear and cylinders with both DIN and INT valves. Nitrox is available at an extra cost, and underwater cameras are available.
The best diving conditions are between October and March. The dive centre is closed in May and June each year.
